I’ve been a huge fan of Musical Theatre Guild for like, forever. Actually, they’ve only been around since 1995, but they’re devoted to preserving the unique American art form of musical theatre by presenting seldom-seen musicals.  And if ever there was a seldom seen musical, The Golden Apple definitely fits that criteria! This 1954 gem, an “Opera for Broadway” has had few productions since it’s initial run.

I was thrilled to be cast in this One Night Only staged reading, as Miss Minerva Oliver/the Scientist. It was a total joy to work with this group of supremely talented artists.

AND, we got a lovely review by Rob Stevens 🙂

THE GOLDEN APPLE was directed by Michael Van Duzer with musical direction by Richard Berent. Under the production supervision of Robin DeLano and David Holmes.
