How I used Social Media, not Dollars, to Grow my Business
The topics were SOCIAL, PARTNERSHIP, DETERMINATION, COMMITMENT, CONFIDENCE, COURAGE, and CLARITY: 7 successful business women sharing their stories of how they grew their businesses to over 7 figures.
Symposia2014 was a day of information, inspiration, and lessons learned from women entrepreneurs who have found the courage to follow their dreams and build successful businesses with skill, persistence, determination and grit.
At the invitation of my friend Julie Gordon White, the force behind this amazing conference, I spoke about “SOCIAL” – how I built my company, EasyLunchboxes.com, to be the top selling lunchboxes on Amazon. Without advertising, I’ve spread the word about my products solely through social media platforms like Pinterest and Facebook.
How amazing to be in a line up of speakers that included Joan Barnes, founder of Gymboree and Yoga Studio Mill Valley, Laura Russell-Jones of Hitchcock Rosenfield Investment Group, Susan Thomas of Trainer Communications, Inc., Jennifer Adams Bunkers of TruKid Natural Baby & Kid Products & Velocity Source Group, Inc., Melissa Ryan of Festoon Salons, Inc., Dr. Sooji Rugh of Greenlite Medicine, and Christine Falatico-Frey of CiCi’s Italian Butterhorns.
Walls of Inspiration
Besides the incredibly inspiring and uplifting presentations by the panel, two entire walls were filled with the attendees words of wisdom and thoughts on entrepreneurship:
